We have a fully fitted lab including microscopes, an incubator and various blood testing machines to test blood gases, biochemistries, haematology and endocrinology. We also do SNAP testing and titre testing here for various diseases.
Endocrinology testing looks at hormone levels such as progesterone, cortisol, thyroxine, TSH and CRP. Biochemistries include tests for kidney and liver function, proteins, electrolytes and many other blood- borne chemicals which we can use to accurately diagnose disease. Haematology looks at the various cells in the blood, checking their quantities and relative percentages.
We use an external laboratory to test for other substances in the blood, including toxins, allergens and more specialist diagnostics. There is a nightly courier collection service to facilitate this.
