Neutering

Routine spays and castrates in dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets where required are all undertaken in sterile conditions.  We include full pain relief (including take home) in our standard prices since we do not think that this should be an optional extra.

Neutering is an extremely important part of preventative health care, especially in females.  There are pros and cons to any procedure, but please talk to us to individualize a plan for your pet.  The main advantages include population control, tumour and disease prevention, however if done at the wrong time, it can also lead to an increase in certain other problems, including tumours and orthopaedic injuries.

In an emergency, please contact us and then come straight down to the clinic.

By contacting us, we can talk you through any first aid necessary, and can also alert the clinical staff of your impending arrival.

Out of Hours, you will be redirected to our emergency service.  There is an emergency line bypass on our phone system.

Emergencies will always be prioritized.
